Dereos Roads “Age is Just (Revisited)” Artwork Visual

Formerly known as Proseed, Dereos Roads’ first single has now been released. “Age is Just (Revisited)” is a chill song with a reverberating piano melody and warm guitar riff, complemented by introspective lyrics, like a forethought to the next creative chapter. Bassist Kevin Nolan provides a smooth lo-end groove, allowing the listener to drift into the experience like sailing into the middle of the ocean. There’s just something about birds and the sea that fit the track. Check out the artwork visual below and stream the track on your preferred service.

Proseed is Now Dereos Roads

If you follow Proseed on social media, you might have noticed that he’s been hinting at it for a couple months now…he’s changing his name.

It is our pleasure at Surface Level Records to introduce you to…

🎧🎀 Dereos Roads 🎸🎹

So what does that mean for the Proseed discography?

All music under Proseed will remain on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Bandcamp and everywhere else. Bandcamp has been updated with a new subdomain, so gone are the days of proseed.bandcamp and here are the days of dereosroads.bandcamp.com (I’ll eventually update the subdomain to an even more official name also).

An official website is already up: https://www.dereosroads.com 🀘

All social media handles have been updated, and a new Youtube page is in the works (changing that would be a real pain given the amount of music/distribution rights tied to my original artist name).

It’s an exciting time! Thank you for reading and for all your continued support!

We’ve got some exciting news! Surface Level Records will be performing this coming Monday, Nov 14th, at Trace Brewing in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. As part of the Lights Out multi-genre quarterly, Proseed & DFRNTFRM will be sharing the stage with DJ Blacklisted holding down the 1s and 2s. The band Different Places in Space, as well as Wil Kondrich & Marc Reisman, will also be performing.

The show runs from 6-10 PM EST. All ages, free to enter, and a food truck will be parked outside so get some grub! Those 21 and over are guaranteed to enjoy some great brews. I’ve tried 4-5 different styles from the brewery, so I can attest to the quality πŸ™‚

This will likely be the only show from the crew until next spring, so don’t miss it!
